Linda is the greatest mother I have ever had, a biased point given that I've only had one. She has all the greatest qualities a human being could wish to possess and I am lucky enough to have her as my mother.
Being the best in our family, we were devastated last year when she was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. Though the news completely flipped our lives and everything continued to change as she went through surgery and treatments - one thing remained constant: Linda is still Linda!
She still has the same enthusiasm for life and love and has made the very best of an awful deal. She has been the strongest of us all and it teaches us to appreciate every day we have together as a family.
I ask that you donate what you can and think of the ones you love, especially Linda because she loves all of you. Cancer sucks. But maybe there will be a day when cancer is long forgotten and no one need have it in their lives anymore!
Cheers to my Mumsiekins!
