Nearly half of Canadians are expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. That means almost half of our family and friends will hear the words “you have cancer” at some point in their lives. Join me in taking action to help create a world where no Canadian has to fear this disease.
Relay has been a part of my life for the last fifteen years and I have seen the impact it makes on survivors, participants, and those who are going through their fight. My Zia survived breast cancer twice and is an incredibly inspiring person in my life - she is courageous and was determined to win that battle.
My wonderful Father In Law was diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of this year and watching him fight it while remaining optimistic has been so inspirational. He has always been so happy, kind, funny and giving and doesn't plan on letting this slow him down.
Before that, I relayed for everyone and anyone and now it's a little more personal.
I’m determined to make a difference by participating in the Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life. This is a nationwide event that brings people together to celebrate survivors, honour those we’ve lost and show that no one has to face cancer alone. By making a donation, you can help fund Canada’s most promising research, vital support services for patients and their families, and other important work that could change the future of cancer.
I hope you’ll show your support, and help me reach my fundraising goal.
Thank you!
