Every year we lose more people to this awful desease. This year I was asked by a close friend to participate again - I was part of this event for 15 years before it ceased in Niagara.
Let's raise funds to support those dealing with a disease that touches too many.
Let's raise funds in memory of those that we have lost to this disease.
I will be socially distanced from my friends, but I will not let that stop me from making a difference and supporting them.
Nearly 1 in 2 Canadians are expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. That means half of our family and friends will hear the words “you have cancer” at some point in their lives. Join me in taking action to help create a world where no Canadian has to fear this disease.
I’m determined to make a difference by participating in the Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life. This is a nationwide event that brings people together to celebrate survivors, honour those we’ve lost and show that no one has to face cancer alone. By making a donation, you can help fund Canada’s most promising research, vital support services for patients and their families, and other important work that could change the future of cancer.
I hope you’ll show your support, and help me reach my fundraising goal.
