WHY I RELAY!
The first Relay I attended was in 2007 as my brother was on a team and invited us down to check it out. We decided that night we would put a family and friends team in that next year. In the Winter of 2007 my brother Tim, was diagnosed with oral cancer. It was an aggressive and a very ugly cancer. In the Spring of 2008 he asked me if I would help him put a team in Relay with a bunch of guys he use to duck hunt with, called “Bob’s Quackers” … I have never said “NO” to my brother and I wasn’t about to start, especially with him going through treatments and wanting to participate in the Relay for Life. I took him from his hospital room to Relay the night of the event and he did 2 laps during the Survivor’s Walk, he was so proud of himself. That was his last Relay and I have continued his FIGHT every year since being a team member and committee member. I continue the FIGHT for those who both won and lost their battle and for those still battling.

I hope you’ll show your support, and help me reach my fundraising goal.
