Cancer affects every body in some way, whether being directly, or through a family member or a friend. People affected by cancer rely on support systems from friends and family which has no longer been made possible due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Surgeries and other necessary treatments have been put off, making this time incredibly difficult for anyone affected. Through Relay at Home we want to help raise awarness and provide support through those who are currently affected, and letting them know that we are standing by their side.
Join the Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life and UCC community to support survivors in our area, providing hope to Canadians affected by cancer. Upper Canada College is incredibly proud to be able to partake in Relay at Home and we hope to involve as many members of our community as possible. Help us fundraise, raise awarness and come together supporting an amazing cause, while having some fun connecting with others from your own living room!
UCC will be running our own Relay For Life this coming October, and we hope to see everyone getting registered after participating in Relay at Home. We can't wait to see everyone virtually and then in person soon enough, and remember, save the date, June 13, 7-9pm!
