I cannot actually put into words what I'm feeling right now. This event is so very much needed for so many reasons . To anyone who has gone through the processes of this disease or have watched a loved one face it, I won't lie and say once the treatment is done it's sunshine and rainbows its not. This is not something I want to have in common with anyone least of all people I love and care about. Unfortunately this year's event will be bittersweet.
Nearly half of Canadians are expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. That means almost half of our family and friends will hear the words “you have cancer” at some point in their lives. Join us so we can show our communities that no one has to face cancer alone.
We hope we can count on your support. Join our team and help us fundraise. Or make a donation to fund Canada’s most promising research, vital support services for patients and their families, and other important work that could change the future of cancer.
Thank you!
