Relay For Life in Amherst 2024

Gray Matters

On April 1st, 2023 Scott Fraser was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), a grade IV astrocytoma and fast-growing, aggressive brain tumor. He spent a whole year fighting this battle that has been anything but easy before passing away on April 12th, 2024. Scott was a beautiful human being, to say the least. There is nothing he cared about more than his wife and two kids - he would do anything for them. He made many sacrifices to give his family a good life and to help them live comfortably and happily. Being such a selfless person, he would do his best to help anyone in need, so much so that he is a well known and loved person in the community. Everyone will always be incredibly grateful for all he has done. His goofy, selfless, and loving personality will forever be missed and he will never be forgotten. We relay in the hopes that together we can reduce the amount of people that have to go through this terrifying, lonely, and painful experience and help those who have fought as well as those who continue their battle. We will proudly represent the gray ribbon that holds the struggles and journey that comes with brain cancer. Rest in peace, we love and miss you. Until we meet again.
