FOR MY MOM AND SISTER...

An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada.

To show my support for all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal of $1,000 and make a life-changing difference for so many people. I am runing in memory for my Mom. Mrs Joyce C E Brent (d. 2004) and my eldest Sister Mrs Arlene J Friar-Couture (d. 1996) and in memory, and in honour, of over 200 other family, friends and CIBC Colleagues that faced their war on Cancer. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking. life-saving breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease. I promised my Mom on her death bed that I would be part of the solution of creating a world without breast cancer, please help by sponsoring me friends. Blessings!!!

P.S. Did you know? Fundraising $300 can fund help provide healthy home-cooked meals for guests at a Canadian Cancer Society lodge during their stay. Lodge guests receive wholesome foods like fresh fruits and vegetables, and meals customized to their dietary needs – including those arising from cancer treatment, like liquid and soft food diets.
