Kitchener-Waterloo: Ms. Wendy Garner

On Sunday, October 1st, I will be participating, for the 20th consecutive year, in the 2023 Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure. Breast cancer is a cause which deeply motivates me and I am proud to be a survivor since 1999. I am excited to be running and raising funds to support the Canadian Cancer Society's vision of creating a future without breast cancer and to help in the research of other cancers. The money raised during the CIBC Run for the Cure helps to fund critical and groundbreaking research, education, and advocacy initiatives across the country. With an estimated 24,000 women and men diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020, I am glad to be helping to change those statistics—but I need your help to do it.

This being my 20th year my goal is to raise $20,000
