On Sunday, October  1st 2023, we will be participating in the 2023 CIBC Run for the Cure.  The breast cancer cause is one that is very close to our hearts and we are proud to be working together to raise funds in support of it.  We have a number of survivors on our team and all of us have loved ones and/or friends that have been touched by the disease. The CIBC Run for the Cure is Canada’s largest single-day, volunteer-led fundraising event dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research, education, and advocacy initiatives. 

The money raised in the CIBC Run for the Cure will help support Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation funded researchers across the country.  Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation grant recipient Dr. Olga Kovalchuk and her collaborator, Dr. McDonald, are exploring the root causes of elevated rates of breast cancer in shift workers all over the world by investigating whether circadian rhythm disruption has a carcinogenic effect on breast tissue.  This is just one example of how the money we raise together will make a difference. 

Our goal is to continue raising funds for groundbreaking breast cancer research and make the biggest impact we can.  For that, we need your help.  Please support us by joining our team or donating today!
