Jodi's Breast Friends in Toronto

Meet my Breast Friends!

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 and am finally feeling strong enough to start this team to give back. This group of my friends and family have come together with the goal to support each other and to support those impacted by breast cancer. We are a multi-site team with participants in both Toronto and Edmonton!

On Sunday, October 1, 2023 we are paticipating in the 2023 Canadian Cancer Society's CIBC Run For The Cure. We hope our efforts will lead to better treatment options and survival outcomes.

Please consider helping us reach our fundraising goal, and know that you are contributing directly to funding groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.

Together, we can create a future without breast cancer.

Team Tent Awards

Your team can be recognized as one of the top 5 teams at your local CIBC Run for the Cure event! The top 5 teams who meet the minimum fundraising requirement of $15,000 by the deadline 10 p.m. PST on Monday, September 18, 2023, will receive their own team tent space. You can decorate the space, hang out there on Run Day and receive the VIP experience!

For offline funds to be counted towards these awards, the funds must be displayed online by the deadlines above. Bank stamped, offline forms can be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society via email to connect@cancer.ca or mailed to the address on the form. Processing times vary, but please allow a minimum of 3 weeks from receipt of the form by CCS to seeing offline fundraising reflected in your totals online.
