Ottawa-Gatineau: Save Second Base - CIBC Run for the Cure

Ottawa-Gatineau

Save Second Base

Every day, 70 Canadians will hear the words “you have breast cancer.” While these Canadians are living longer, healthier lives after a breast cancer diagnosis, some are not as lucky and there is still so much work to be done.

By participating in this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cureteam Save Second Base is joining a collective that is a force-for-life in the face of breast cancer.  We are running in honour of all the incredible people in our lives, especially Tara, and we need your help!

Even though the pandemic is still with us, breast cancer is still a continuous fight and we need to help battle it too! Please contribute what you can to our fundraising. Every dollar makes a difference. Your donation will fund ground-breaking research to help save the lives of more Canadians and provide support programs for people affected by breast cancer

Did you know that just $100 could fund two hours of life-saving research in a world class laboratory? Your contribution could lead to the next breakthrough!

Together, we can change the future of breast cancer.  Thank you in advance for your support!

Team Tent Awards

Your team can be recognized as one of the top 5 teams at your local CIBC Run for the Cure event! The top 5 teams who meet the minimum fundraising requirement of $10,000 by the deadline 10 p.m. PST on Monday, September 18, 2023, will receive their own team tent space. You can decorate the space, hang out there on Run Day and receive the VIP experience!

For offline funds to be counted towards these awards, the funds must be displayed online by the deadlines above. Bank stamped, offline forms can be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society via email to connect@cancer.ca or mailed to the address on the form. Processing times vary, but please allow a minimum of 3 weeks from receipt of the form by CCS to seeing offline fundraising reflected in your totals online.
