Saskatoon: Team Tirzah - CIBC Run for the Cure

Saskatoon

Team Tirzah

Tirzah was 36 years old when she was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer. She is a mother of two, and lives in Saskatoon, Canada with her fiance Ricky Forbes.

Tirzah decided early after her diagnosis that she wanted to be an advocate for young women everywhere and bring awareness and help other women who were going through the same thing. Early detection is what saved her life, and in sharing her story, Tirzah has already helped saved other lives and has encouraged and motivated young women to go get regular check ups and to be their own advocate for their health.

After sharing some very vulnerable videos and raw moments through Social Media, Tirzah’s TikTok videos went viral reaching millions. Since then, Tirzah has reached women around the world and has inspired them and helped them with their own journeys.

Tirzah was asked to speak at the CIBC Run for the Cure as the “Hope Speaker” in 2022. All of the money raised went to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Last October she spoke on-air sharing her story with C95 fm for their yearly Radio Marathon event for Breast Cancer Research. The money raised went to the Saskatchewan Cancer Foundation.

Tirzah has been a special guest on numerous Podcasts, including Natalie Jill's podcast "Midlife Conversations."

Tirzah will be volunteering as one of the models in this years Fashion Show Fundraiser with Choc 'la Cure
