The U15AAA Hawks and their families are supporting this year's run for the cure with a team event run/walk.

One in 8 women will be diagnosed in Canada with Breast cancer - so chances are you know many already that have been affected by this disease. Of those, 1 in 3-4, will be diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer and this is the only terminal stage of Cancer. 

Better treatments are needed, and by creating this Metastatic Breast Cancer team, all money raised will be directed to the Metastatic Futures Fund - the Metastic research arm of the Canadian Cancer Society. This money helps to fund research and clinic trials in Canada that are so desperately needed to give BC patients better quality of life, and more years of progression free survival.
