In late November 2018, my mom found out there was something on her mammogram that needed to be investigated further. A few weeks later, we heard those words, “breast cancer”. Since then my mom has had numerous trips to the Tom Baker, two surgeries, and sixteen radiation treatments. Along the way she was supported by my Dad, encouraged by her friends, and loved by her family, but she was the one who won the war. Despite the pain and the fear of the unknown, on June 10th, she rang the bell!

We don’t know what her story will be from here, but no matter what, Earla’s Army will walk the journey with her!
