My Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer after her routine mammogram. She responded well to treatment and continues to be the strong, never stopping woman I admire. 

I've done the Weekend to End Breast Cancer, The Ride to Conquer Cancer, the Underwear Affair for Cancer 'down there' and I've been doing this event with my mom, sisters and daughter in Carstairs. This disease is hitting too close to home now and I want to do more. 

I want my Mom to continue being the role model and confidante that she is for my family. I want my girlfriends to have early detection and access to successful treatment. I want my daughter to never have to worry about Breast Cancer as a disease at all.

Cancer sucks but today I am putting out there that this is something positive that we can do. We can fund research, provide services and treatments for those battling it. I stand with my friends, sisters, aunts, cousins, nieces, my daughter and most of all my Mom.
