To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure...where I will be walking the course with many of my Supply Chain team mates from Pembina under the team name "Procure the Cure".

We are walking as a team, together, for our dear friend and collegue Carmen Allard who is currently fighting her own fight with her cancer journey. I work closely with Carmen in our Category Management team, she is such a fantastic friend and mentor to me. She needs our support at this time!

I am walking for my Gran. Her battle with breast cancer has ended and she’s looking down on us for our run. Forever a warrior. X

I am also doing this walk in support of my Mum Sue, who's a true warrior and completed her treatment for breast cancer in 2023 and is currently cancer free!! Although Mum is in the UK, we need to ensure that ever warrior everywhere has the resourcing available to help them fight their fight, and get us a step closer to the cure.

I really hope I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
