Hi dear ones,

I was diagnosed with triple positive breast cancer this past spring, 2024.

Together with my beloved Jaideep and our three-year-old son Luka, we have turned this scary diagnosis into meaningful experiences. Whether it be a family pizza party after they shaved my head, embracing all-things pink, quality visits during chemo sessions, and now this impactful run. At the time of this event, I will be halfway through my chemo sessions - we’re getting through! Having the capacity to participate during treatment has proven a powerful goal to aspire to. I am filled with gratitude for the many beautiful souls who continue to help me find inspiration during this challenging time. This is my love letter to all of you:

Thank you to the love of my life, Jaideep, and our precious son Luka for your emotionally-moving, joy-filled, unwavering love and support. Om Shanti Om.

Thank you to Jaideep’s colleagues for trading shifts so he can support me during chemo, as well as for planning and participating in this run with us.

Thank you to my dear family and friends for your continued love and support, I trust you know who you are.

Thank you dear “Grauntie” for your devotion to our family, especially bringing such joy to Luka.

Thank you Aunt Linda, Aunt Brenda & Uncle Jim, Dawn & Adam, Melinda, Erin, Kathy & Wayne, and Cathy for your soul-nourishing food.

Thank you Susan for your thoughtful “chemo caps” and endless generous gestures.

Thank you Cathy for your labour of love in our garden.
