You all know why I’m here. This awful disease took my mother, my best friend, my babies gramma… and a dear friend to so many others. 

  Sadly, I’m not the only one with losses on this team. My beautiful friends Ashley, Shauna. and Lisa have also lost their mothers to some form of this disease. We all have daughters ourselves and I think collectively we pray that advances will be made so that there are better treatments and higher survival rates yet.

An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada.  

To show my support for all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 2, 2022.
