To show my support for the thousands of individuals diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

In 2016, I was faced with the diagnosis of breast cancer. The following year was a time of treatments, surgery and recovery. But thanks to medical professionals, an early diagnosis, advanced treatment options, and incredible support, I am grateful to say that I have been cured and cleared since.

Today, I am using my story to help raise funds for breast cancer research and support programs for those impacted by the disease. These programs make a world of difference for so many going through the same journey I faced.
