I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2019.  I have been passionate about supporting breast cancer research for years, as my grandmother and three aunts were affected by the same disease.  This year I am running for SARAH, whose story is similar to mine. The big difference is that Sarah is in her 30's. We are seeing more younger women affected by breast cancer. Although there are many successful outcomes, I pray fewer people have to take this journey.
