In the fall of 2017, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.  Thanks to my loving family (led by our fearless leader and my husband, Winston) the tremendous kindness of friends and an outstanding medical team of doctors and nurses, I was supported every step of the way and had the benefit of receiving the best treatment options available. It is also thanks to all of the brave women and men who have navigated the challenges of a breast cancer diagnosis before me and to everyone who donates that treatment options and survival keep improving.

To show my support for all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 6, 2024.  

I hope that you will take a moment, send a wish for all those who are facing breast cancer and, where possible, make a donation.
