In 2013, Shaheeda was diagnosed with breast cancer.

She went through surgery, treatment, dealt with numerous side effects (and still is), and we all admired her strength and bravery through all of it.

We are all so grateful for the care she received throughout her journey and for the
treatments available to her.

 Cancer is something that has touched us all in one way or another and raising funds for research with the goal of a cancer free future is a worthy cause.
