I can not tell you how lucky I feel to be writing my story. It has been almost seven years since my diagnosis and breast cancer treatment journey began. It was a very large community of health professionals, community resources and my circle of family and friends that helped. I am grateful.

To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating in and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many others. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
