Nearly 1 in 2 Canadians is expected to develop cancer in their lifetime! While many of these Canadians are living longer, healthier lives after a cancer diagnosis, there is still so much work to be done.

In 2021, we lost a dear colleague and friend, Monica, to bone cancer. Many of us in the office had known her for 20 years and her wisdom, kind spirit and amazingly delicious food is missed by all. Other colleagues and friends have battled breast cancer while others have battled different types of cancer, sometimes more than once. My best friend has had breast cancer 3 times!
