I am participating in this years Run for the Cure in memory of my sister Christine, who lost her nearly 10 yr battle with breast cancer on June 6th 2021.  She was my adventure partner and my best friend!  She was a warrior and truly an inspiration to everyone she met. She never let cancer stand in her way, and she lived her life to the fullest.  She gave so much back to the community through her volunteer efforts.  Every year in honor of Chris, rain or shine, I will be donning my tutu as I walk in her memory.

Every day, 75 Canadians will hear the words “you have breast cancer.” While these Canadians are living longer, healthier lives after a breast cancer diagnosis, there is still so much work to be done.

Together, we can show Canadians facing breast cancer that we will never stop running.
