Edmonton: Kendric Mcdonald - CIBC Run for the Cure

I first met Emily during that strange period in 2020. Starting a relationship in the midst of the pandemic was challenging, to say the least, but that was only the beginning. Shortly after, Emily was diagnosed with Stage 2 triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). This turned our world upside down and put us to the test. During the height of the pandemic, I moved Emily in with me so I could care for her. I had quickly fallen for her and knew she was "the one," so this felt like just another obstacle we’d overcome together. I'm happy to say that after successful chemotherapy and radiation treatments, we're now living a normal life with our dog, Monte, and two cats, Dragun and Shad.

To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
