To show my support for all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 6, 2024.

I have started my CIBC Run for the Cure team in honor of my mother, Cheryl, who passed away in the summer of 2024. She was a guiding light in our lives, embodying courage, resilience, and unwavering strength in everything she did. Her commitment to helping others shaped who I am, as she raised my siblings and I with that same spirit of generosity. My mother always believed that "You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy." In her memory, we are raising funds for breast cancer research to support advancements in treatment, early detection, and care. 

Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease. I believe better treatment options and survival outcomes are possible. Together, we can give Canadians impacted by breast cancer a reason to have hope. And we can help change the future for all.
