To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

Nearly everyone has had their lives touched by cancer. Unfortunately my mother-in-law lost her battle in 2007, but I have numerous special friends and family members who continue their fight and many who have beat cancer. This is because of the advancement in treatments, support, and funding raised by events such as the CIBC Run for the Cure.

This year has been a cancer focused year for a few of my most precious people. This has given me a detailed view of the day-to-day appointments, worries, stress, next-steps and unknowns that they and their families go through. This is a rollercoaster ride that I would like to help all people touched by cancer navigate.

Please donate today. I believe better treatment options and survival outcomes are possible. Together, we can give Canadians impacted by breast cancer a reason to have hope.
