In Alberta, I will run,

Underneath the morning sun,
For my mom, so brave and strong,
In my heart, she’s where I belong.

Though she’s far in Ontario,
Her strength and courage always show,
Through battles fought and tears that fell,
Her spirit shines, a tale to tell.

A mastectomy she did face,
With grace and hope, she found her place,
To honor her, I lace my shoes,
And run this 5K, spreading news.

For breast cancer, we unite,
To bring awareness, shed some light,
Your support can help us win,
Together, let the fight begin.
