MY EXPERIENCE!

March 29, 2024 discovered lump in my right arm pit. I was healthy! No symptoms alerting me of disease infecting my body.

Visited GP next day, which is when a lump was also noted in right breast

April 3 - Mammogram and ultrasound

April 9 – Biopsy

April 15 – GP provides results of biopsy (cancer in breast and one lymph node)

April 25 – Consult with surgical oncologist – due to the aggressive type of breast cancer and size of the lump in the lymph node, it was advised to start chemotherapy and complete surgery after treatment

April 29 – MRI

April 30 – Metal clip placement on tumors

May 1 – ECG (to ensure my heart was healthy enough to handle treatment)

May 2 – Full body bone scan

May 6 – CT Scan

May 7 – Consult with hematology oncologist – can’t recall most of what was discussed/explained (Diagnosis - aggressive form of breast cancer (triple negative)

May 14 – MRI, Biopsy and clip placement (CT scan from May 6 showed a possible mass in left breast)

June 20 – Treatment #6

August 12 – Inject to increase white blood cells which were to low to continue with next treatment

August 15 – CT scan

August 17 – Inject to ward off infection

September 5 – Treatment #2

September 6 – Inject to ward off infection

September 26 – Treatment #3

September 27 – Inject to ward off infection

October 2 - MRI

FUTURE:

October 17 – Treatment #4

October 18 – Inject to ward off infection

October 24 – Consult with surgical oncologist

November ? – Surgery

December 3 - Consult with radiation oncologist

December/January ? - radiation therapy

January 2025 - Consult with hematology oncologist to discuss further preventative treatment - possible 6 months
