In this world, as it is today, I know everyone is struggling to adjust.  But some things have remained the same;  every day, 70 Canadians will hear the words “you have breast cancer.” 23 years ago-I heard that same line.  I went through my journey with my Mom-we had our surgeries a month apart.  I’ve since lost my Mom , she was 98 and lived a long full life, but this will always be an extra emotional walk for me and my family. Since my diagnosis, I have also had a wonderful, full life and I have felt blessed; I have been able to enjoy 8 grandchildren, and a great-grandson (August 2024).   I've met and befreinded many wonderful people and shared many very loving moments/memories with my husband and other family members.  I walk, because those before me raised funds for research and so I was given the benefits of that - I WALK BECAUSE I CAN.   I walk because cancer is still picking on my friends, just recently another friend was diagnosed Join us and have fun with me, my family and thousands of others all looking to reach the same goal.  If you can't join, please donate, $25 goes a long way in research.         WALKERS4KNOCKERS                           I WALK BECAUSE I CAN!
