Every day, too many Canadians will hear the words “you have breast cancer.”  Men are included! While these Canadians are living longer, healthier lives after a breast cancer diagnosis, there is still so much work to be done. 

In Dec 2001, my wife Chris became a statistic.  Now a Survivor; 23 years.  It was very difficult for me in the beginning, but she handled everything so well and was definitely my rock, more than I was hers.  My Mother-in-Law was diagnosed at the same time - a trying, stressful period for us all.  But we made it through, thankful for those that went before us and walked and raised money for research and support.  By participating in this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure,  I’m helping make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many  Canadians affected by breast cancer. I’m running in honour of my wife, remembering my mother-in-law, who left us this year and many other incredible people in my life, I could use your support!
