A team of friends and family are coming together again in loving memory of Leslie: mother, wife, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, colleague and friend. 

We lost our Leslie at the age of 34 in May of 2022, approximately 18 months after receiving a Metastatic Breast Cancer diagnosis. Leslie shared her journey through social media, raising awareness, and allowing others to see her courage in the face of her diagnosis. In Leslie's last Run for the Cure, her team was able to raise almost $13,000. Our team is hopeful to raise $10,000 together this year. 

We continue to be inspired by Leslie and want to keep her message and efforts going.

The reality is, only 22% of people living with metastatic breast cancer live longer than 5 years. Yet, as Leslie so often shared, MBC is chronically underfunded. More research is needed.

All funds raised for the Run for the Cure go towards breast cancer and once our team raises $2500.00 we will be able to direct these funds specifically to metastatic breast cancer.
