Metastatic Breast Cancer - Love for Leslie

We have come together as a team in loving memory of our Leslie: mother, wife, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, colleague and friend. Leslie passed away at the age of 34 in May 2022, approximately 18 months after receiving a stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer diagnosis.

The reality is, only 22% of people living with metastatic breast cancer live longer than 5 years. Yet, as Leslie so often shared, MBC is chronically underfunded. More research is needed.

Leslie shared her story through social media, raising awareness and allowing others to see her courage in the face of her diagnosis. Last year, Leslie and her team Metastatic Breast Cancer - Leslie’s Lovely Lady Lumps raised over $12,500 for the Metastatic Futures Fund. It meant so much to Leslie to be able to contribute in a meaningful way to raising awareness and raising money for research.

Inspired by Leslie, we want to keep her message and fundraising going!

Please walk, run or donate in honor of Leslie, so that we can continue to fund this important research.

All funds raised by our team will go towards MBC Research and the Metastatic Futures Fund.

Thank you! We appreciate your generous support.

P.S. Did you know? A $75 donation can fund a clinical trial for someone with breast cancer to test new treatments to save lives and give hope to countless others.
