I asked my lovely wife to dance 40 years ago, and she said yes! She also said yes when I asked her to marry me! We have three beautiful daughters who are all leaders in every sense of the word.

What I didn’t know when I asked Leslie to dance was that my father had passed on to me a pathogenic mutation of the PALB2 gene. I have passed this genetic defect on to each of my three North Stars. 

I run for Ielysh and our other two daughters. I run for the hopes and dreams of all the those impacted by this disease.

My hope is that, with your support, we can turn metastatic breast cancer into a manageable chronic disease in the very near future. It is actually possible; the science is encouraging.
