An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada.

To show my support for all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.

In the year 2022 My Auntie, Paige (39 years old at the time), was diagnosed with Stage 3 Inflammatory Breast Cancer. She did 16 rounds of chemo, a single Mastectomy, and 16 rounds of radiation. There is always a chance it will come back.

This year (2024) Paige got some devestaing news that her Cancer had made its way to her overies and was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Cancer (she had her tubes and overies removed in May). She went for Head, Chest, Abdomen, and Pelvis CT and a Bone Scan. Her results showed that the Cancer is now in her bones and Liver and possibly in her left lung.
