My sister is an over 25 years survivor of this terrible disease.  My family, aunts on both my Mother's and Father's side of the family, cousins, and numerous very good friends have all fought this battle.  Some have unfortunately, lost the battle and are sorely missed.  The majority, I'm glad to say are strong survivors.  

A donation to my "run" (although anyone that knows me will know that I will be walking the 5 km lol), will be much appreciated.  Any and all donations will help us defeat this awful disease.

An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada.

To show my support for all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
