To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure. 

On Sept 6, 2023, I underwent surgery after being diagnosed with Grade 2 Endometrial Endometriod Adenocarcinoma with nuclear atypia…uterine cancer.  Today, I am 1 year cancer free.

Through my cancer and wellness journey, I’ve made some goals for myself, with my most recent goal being to participate in a 5k run.

In combining cancer advocacy and awareness, along with my personal wellness goal, I’d like to share that to ‘celebrate’ my 1 year cancer free, I’ll be participating in the CIBC Run for the Cure event taking place on Oct 6!

Cancer touches so many lives, in so many ways, so if I can do my small part in raising awareness, or help one person get early diagnosis, or to support them through their own journey, then this whole experience has been worth it for me.

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
