It is important for me to share my story. Being diagnosed with breast cancer came as a shock to me. I buckled down and was ready to fight. So many surgeries and treatments, it could feel like it would never end. I was loaded in my lymph nodes which was so scary. I was extremely blessed to have had it not spread. With breast cancer it is paramount to have early detection. This can save your life. I’m thankful for mammograms and ultrasounds as a way to keep you updated on your health. That is why it’s so important to have your mammograms done. I also see it effecting younger ages all the time. So please do self checks regularly and if you feel something isn’t right then make sure to get checked! I know some people don’t like to give to fundraisers but I can tell you it really does come to us. We see thousands of dollars covered for certain medications as well as injections. We pray for better treatments all the time. So many still die from this cancer. So please join with me in a walk or even just to donate.
