An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada. To show our support for all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, we are participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 6, 2024. I am participating as a two time breast cancer survivor.  First diagnosed in February of 2021, I underwent a double mastectomy in April of that year.   Fast forward to Feb. 2023, I discovered a lump which turned out to be the same type of cancer as before.  I had that removed on September 15th, 2023 followed by 3 weeks of radiation in December 2023.   I am undergoing hormone therapy and grateful to be able to support all survivors!

Lodge guests receive wholesome foods like fresh fruits and vegetables, and meals customized to their dietary needs including those arising from cancer treatment, like liquid and soft food diets.
