At the end of 2023 my partner was diagnosed with a triple negative breast cancer at 33 y/o. 

Needless to say that 2024 has been quite a challenging year, navigating between the medical appointments, living with the uncertainty of how things will evolve and at the same time trying to keep living our lives and being parents of a wonderful 2 y/o boy. It has now been 10 months since she started her treatment with intensive chemo therapy and finally a surgery in July, she is now in remission with an expected end of the treatment for February 2025.

We were fortunate enough to get diagnosed at an early stage and we can't thank enough the Abbotsford BC Cancer team for their help and support through the long process. 

This is the the breast cancer awareness month and my family is participating and fundraising for the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC run for the cure. Each donation has an impact and will help funding research about the many variations of breast cancer and how to treat them.
