In March 2023, my life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with breast cancer during a routine surgery. At just 36 years old, with no family history of the disease, this news was a shock. Since then, I’ve undergone a mastectomy and begun hormone therapy, finding strength in my family, friends, and the incredible support system around me.

Through this journey, I’ve come to deeply appreciate organizations like Run for the Cure, which provide essential resources for patients and fund vital research. This cause is incredibly close to my heart, and I’m participating in this year's run to give back and help others facing their own cancer battles.

Lodge guests receive wholesome foods like fresh fruits and vegetables, and meals customized to their dietary needs – including those arising from cancer treatment, like liquid and soft food diets.
