Hi,

I am sending you this email in hoping you can support and encourage others to reach out and assist where ever possible to make lives a little more bearable during challanging times. I am speaking from experience as our lives were hit with a couple speed bumps in the past years. 

Everyone thinks life will just sail along with little bumps and potholes which we can navigate thru with little to no effort. However, while COVID was upon us all, our family was hit with a little more of a challange. My wife, Tracee , was diagnosed with stage 3B Breast cancer. Not a friendly one either,(not that any of them are),but one that does not show itself till it has embedded itself with in the body and starts to grow. This was a very difficult time for our family as we have started to deal with Covid and a different life which was created from isolation. So support was a little scarce but we still had friends and family reaching out with there well wishs and their prayers.

I really learned to appreciate the minor things in life and realized that my wife, soulmate and best friend was and is the strongest person I know. At times I think she carried the family thru some of the challanges we were facing instead of us carrying her through this terrible experience.  We are extremely blessed to have Tracee in our lives and will enjoy our times together thanks in part with the help and assistance the Canadian Cancer society. With out their support, life would definately be different then where we are today. I am sure we can all attest to this in one way or another with a friend, family or loved one being affected in this manner.
