At 44 years young I would have never expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer.  I am raising money and awareness for everyone who will be touched by breast cancer.

Since my diagnosis on October 28th 2022 I have undergone surgery, 8 rounds of chemo in 16 weeks and 10 rounds of radiation in 2 weeks and now doing immunotherapy and on September 26th I will have surgery to remove my Ovaries and tubes.  The treatment is constantly changing and I hope that in my lifetime we will have a cure or prevention.

An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada.

To show my support for all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 6th, 2024.
