To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure. 

Earlier this year, I was blind sided by my the news my Mom, Jackie, had breast cancer and would soon be under going a lumpectomy. Since my late teens, my Mom has been my role model in maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle; making the news of cancer even more shocking. 

Given her strength, positivity, and decades of commitment to her health, she has been doing amazing throughout her chemotherapy and we are all staying positive that she’ll fully recover after chemo.

 

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
