Save Second Base

Members of Team “Save Second Base” - Kelowna, are breast cancer survivors and those who love them.

Breast cancer affects us all: when a loved one receives a diagnosis their life and everyone’s around them is impacted, too. An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada.

We believe better treatment options and survival outcomes are possible.

In particular, we advocate for more rigorous and focused research on advanced stage/metastatic cancer which is currently under funded.

We want to support all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, including our family and friends.

You can give Canadians impacted by breast cancer a reason to have hope. Make a donation. Be informed about breast cancer. Provide support and help to someone going through breast cancer treatment and recovery.

Together, we can “save second base”s throughout Canada, minimizing the stigma of breast cancer and normalizing the physical transformations women’s body endure due to breast cancer treatment.
