I was diagnosed with stage 3 Breast Cancer in 2017. I had a double mastectomy with reconstructive surgery afterwards. Unfortunately, my body rejected the implants and I had to have the DIEP reconstructive surgery. Today I am 6 years Cancer free  

An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada.

To show my support for all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

Lodge guests receive wholesome foods like fresh fruits and vegetables, and meals customized to their dietary needs including those arising from cancer treatment, like liquid and soft food diets.
