I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma on September 2, 2019. I underwent surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. Although my treatment ended in March of 2020, I struggle daily with the reality that "I had cancer". It has been the most difficult journey of my life. I gain strength from those around me and I will continue to join Run for the Cure to support an organization which has supported me!
