An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada.

This year, my team ("Boob Ross & Friends") and I are participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 6th, 2024. Every dollar we raise will fund breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.

Please take some time to check all of your breast tissue which extends under your armpits and up to your collarbone. Here are the most common signs of breast cancer:

- a lump
- changes in the shape or size of the breast
- changes to the nipple, such as a nipple that suddenly starts to point inward (called an inverted nipple)
- discharge that comes out of the nipple without squeezing it or that has blood in it

Additionally, please check the rest of your body for lumps, suspicious moles or anything out of the ordinary. If you notice anything, please go see a doctor and insist for proper tests.
